Our AI Policy

A STATEMENT ON AI GENERATED ART + PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS:

Our world is in a never-ending state of evolution, + we at the Amesbury Cultural Council are in constant awe of both the creativity and connectivity of human nature — of what can be born of raw materials on a surface, a pen on a page, a voice and microphone.

Our goal has always been, and will continue to be, to create and foster a community ripe with access to cultural activities and the arts, and to uplift and support creative voices in Amesbury and beyond.

We will continue to center our focus on our neighbors and community members, their creativity, and their voices, and it is for this reason we are prohibiting use of artificial intelligence (AI) generated artworks in submitted marketing materials, calls for art, our open studios marketplaces, etc. This included flyers and graphics generated by AI in their entirety.
