For 29 years, the Amesbury Cultural Council has organized a city-wide tour of working artists' studios each November. Artists, makers, and businesses throughout Amesbury and beyond open their doors to the public for two days of creativity, shopping, food, and fun for all ages.
All artists with studios in Amesbury are welcome to participate. For artists who don't have studios in Amesbury, our downtown businesses and City Hall become gracious hosts for the weekend, providing space for artists to showcase their work and set up shop.
A FREE trolley transports visitors to almost a dozen stops across town, and every year brings something different! We are excited to announce that we have received a Festivals Grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council! This grant, in addition to artist registration fees and business sponsorships, will help offset the cost of executing Open Studios 2024.
